1) Overview
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Leia mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region). If you are under 18, you represent you have parental or guardian consent.
You may use Leia to record information about a child in your care. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information and for obtaining any necessary permissions from others.
3) Accounts and Sign‑In
You may register or sign in using third‑party providers (Apple, Google). You authorize us to receive your name, email, and other data permitted by those providers.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
4) Caregivers and Shared Access
The Service may allow you to invite caregivers and share profiles or logs. When you grant access, the invited user can view the shared data until you revoke access.
You are responsible for managing invitations and permissions. We are not responsible for actions taken by people you share data with.
5) AI Guidance and No Medical Advice
Leia may provide AI‑generated tips and content. This content is for informational purposes only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional. Do not disregard professional advice because of AI content in the Service.
The Service is not a medical device.
6) User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload or create (e.g., photos, logs, notes). You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload and share the content, and that your content does not infringe others’ rights.
7) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Service unlawfully or for harmful activities.
Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or violates privacy.
Attempt to access others’ accounts or data without authorization.
Reverse engineer or disrupt the Service, or circumvent security controls.
8) Subscriptions and In‑App Purchases
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are displayed in‑app and may vary by region and tax.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store and auto‑renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple per App Store policy.
Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before trial ends. We may change pricing or offerings with notice as required.
9) Intellectual Property
The Service, including app design, text, graphics, software, and trademarks, is owned by Business Idea Developer Limited or its licensors and protected by law.
Except for your content and the rights explicitly granted to you, all rights are reserved.
10) Third‑Party Services
The Service integrates with third‑party services (e.g., Apple Sign‑In, Google Sign‑In, Firebase). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
11) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that data will be preserved without loss.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or reputation.
Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Business Idea Developer Limited, its affiliates, and personnel harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
14) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain sections survive termination.
15) Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms. We will provide notice of material changes as required by law. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Leia.
1) Information We Collect
Account and Profile: Name, email, authentication identifiers from Apple or Google. Optional profile details you provide.
Care and Activity Logs: Entries you create about children in your care (e.g., feeding, sleep, diapers, notes), health‑related observations that you choose to record, and caregiver relationships you set.
Media: Photos, short videos, and audio captured via the app (camera/microphone) or imported from your library, with your permission.
App Data: Device and app information (e.g., OS version, app version), diagnostics, and performance data necessary to operate and secure the Service.
We do not use Firebase Analytics in this app configuration, but we use Firebase for auth, database, and storage.
2) How We Use Information
Provide, operate, and improve the Service (including syncing content across your devices).
Authenticate users (Apple/Google Sign‑In) and manage accounts and caregiver sharing.
Enable premium features and process in‑app purchases via Apple.
Provide AI‑generated content based on your inputs.
Communicate with you about the Service, updates, and important notices.
Ensure security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3) Sharing of Information
Caregivers You Invite: Data you choose to share (profiles, logs) is accessible to the invited caregiver account until you revoke access.
Service Providers: We use trusted vendors to host and process data, including Firebase (Authentication, Firestore/Storage) and Apple/Google for sign‑in and purchases. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Legal and Safety: We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal requests, or protect rights, safety, and the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
4) Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below.
5) Your Choices and Rights
You can access, edit, or delete content within the app and manage caregiver access.
You can delete your account or request deletion by contacting us at contact@babyleia.com . We will delete account‑linked content unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Notifications and emails: you can control settings in the app or device settings.
6) International Transfers
If you are outside the country where our servers or providers are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations. We use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
7) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including secure authentication and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8) Children’s Privacy
The Service is directed to adults and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Adults may record information about children in their care. If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
9) AI Features
AI content is generated based on your inputs. Do not enter sensitive data unless necessary for your use of the Service. AI outputs may be inaccurate; verify with a professional where appropriate.

Personal data comes from you, your devices, sign‑in providers (Apple/Google), and our service providers (Firebase) acting on our behalf.

The Service may link to third‑party sites or integrate with third‑party services; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
